NHTSA has informed us that Sailun Tire Americas, Inc. has initiated a recall of 389 Transamerican New Mutant X-AT Predator tires. The reason for the recall is sidewall puncture risk. The tire size affected by the recall is 265/70R17 115S.

- Size: 265/70R17 115S
- Production Dates: May 11, 2024 – May 27, 2024
- DOT Codes: 05YCVVVTM2024 to 05YCVVVTM2124
Due to a manufacturing defect there is an increased risk of a crash. Sailun tire Americas will replace the affected tires free of charge – as it usually is the case in these situations. Owners of these tires should receive notification letters of the recall by June 5, 2025. Sailun customer service is available at 1-844-281-9696.
Everyone owning New Mutant X-AT Predator tires should check the DOT code on the sidewall of their tires to make sure theirs are not affected by the recall. In case your tires are within the specific DOT codes we recommend you to contact the tire dealer or Sailun customer service directly.
